Founded by Sifu Kai Leung, Tong Ping Tai Chi Chuan is a style that originates from the Wu Tai Chi style. Contrary to what many in westerners believe, Tai Chi is not only an active meditation and relaxation exercise, but above all a martial art. Tai Chi Chuan translates as Supreme Ultimate Fist. At Wong Kung Fu, emphasis is placed on the martial applications of this boxing system. The practice of Tai Chi is physical, mental and excellent for relieving stress. It can help correct postural defects and lead to better overall health of the practitioner. Classes are given in both French and English.

All students, no matter their skill level participate in the class together. This way all students benefit from corrections each student receives.

Classes at Wong Kung Fu begin with 15 minutes of meditation, followed by 30 minutes of Qi Kung warm-ups. After a short break, advanced students do the main form of 108 movements and beginners practice the basics of the style. Students are seen individually in the last 45 minutes of the class to correct techniques and learn new ones of either empty hand or weapon, such as the long sword. During this time students practice pushing hands as well and review what they have learned.
